Service Description

I am pleased to announce I am now able to offer bespoke one-to-one sessions to those who would like my professional help to tackle that special project, or who really want to focus on developing their skills as furniture up-cyclers. The sessions will be tailored around you, your project and your existing skill set. Maybe you have a piece of furniture that you’ve been wanting to restyle but you haven’t had the space or know how to work on it or perhaps you’ve been upcycling for a while now and are looking to take your skills to the next level. As such, the sessions are ideal for beginners and more advanced practitioners alike, as you will be working directly with me to realise whatever you envision for your piece. I will work with you every step of the way, passing on all my professional knowledge and expertise so that by the end of the session(s) you will have designed and completed a fantastic bespoke piece of upcycled furniture. It is up to you how deep you want to go, whether it be a simple small piece of furniture completed in a day, or something more complicated which might take several sessions. Pricing will be done on an hourly rate, but please get in touch with me with a photo of your piece and description of what you are hoping to achieve, then we can work out how long it will take and arrive at the price. Dates will be flexible to suit you. All materials will be included as well as refreshments throughout the day and we will be working in a fantastic large creative space in Pear Mill, Stockport. I am a qualified teacher and tutor and have been running workshops for several years. I started my own upcycling furniture business in 2015 and will share everything I’ve learnt with you.

Cancellation Policy

Tickets are non-refundable. If the workshop is cancelled for reasons beyond our control than alternative dates will be arranged. If you have a voucher, then the date you select to redeem it on becomes your ticket and you cannot change from the date selected. However, if you are unable to attend please notify us as soon as you can and we will do our best to transfer you to another date, providing we are able to re-sell your place. We will only reschedule you once. We reserve the right to reschedule a workshop if numbers are too low to make it viable to run or will offer to transfer any bookings to other available dates.
