Service Description

If you have always wanted to upcycle furniture, but felt like you would benefit from professional guidance then this is the course for you! You will learn how to prepare your furniture, using wood filler, expert sanding and paint techniques. You will learn to create stunningly modern geometric designs that are simple to achieve. By the end of the day you will leave with a gorgeous piece of upcycled furniture, feeling confident of your skills and full of ideas for future projects. The workshops have a relaxed and informal atmosphere where we can inspire each other and have lots of fun along the way. To ensure you get my full support throughout the day class sizes are kept small. All you need to bring is an unpainted, wooden piece of furniture. This should be easy to carry and no larger than a bedside table or small side table. Contact me with any questions or for recommendations of where to source your preloved piece. Send a picture of it if you would like advice. All abilities are welcome. It can get messy so please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on. All other materials will be providing, including your own information pack to take home, detailing all that is covered in the workshop. I am a qualified teacher and tutor and have been running workshops for several years. I started my own upcycling furniture business in 2015 and will share everything I’ve learnt with you. There is a little cafe at Pear Mill where you are welcome to break and get some lunch during the day or feel free to bring a pack lunch. This course is for adults only. Cancellation Policy

Tickets are non-refundable. If the workshop is cancelled for reasons beyond our control than alternative dates will be arranged. If you have a voucher, then the date you select to redeem it on becomes your ticket and you cannot change from the date selected. However, if you are unable to attend please notify us as soon as you can and we will do our best to transfer you to another date, providing we are able to re-sell your place. We will only reschedule you once. We reserve the right to reschedule a workshop if numbers are too low to make it viable to run or will offer to transfer any bookings to other available dates.
